This map complements the Uinta 1, extending into the High Uintas Wilderness from Mirror Lake to Kings Peak covering 12 USGS 7.5' quads. The area is popular for horseback trips and hiking. Despite the remoteness some winter use from the North Slope (Evanston, WY) and around Mirror Lake is noted. Orientation with GPS references and excellent ortho-topo and relief shade is from 1"=3000' map also available in tear resistant and waterproof version, Item 22. (2003)
