The West slope of the High Uintas is popular summer and winter for hiking horseback and back country ski tours, as well as motorized trail sports. This map uses a novel combination of shaded orthographic imagery superimposed to the Forest Service modified USGS 7.5 minute quads, printed at 1"=3000' (1:36,000). The map shows an overview of the Uintas including the vast Wilderness area which is included in the Uinta Map 2. This map is printed on tear resistant and waterproof stock. (2003)
