This map is adjacent to the Uinta 1 map and includes the High Uintas Wilderness from Mirror Lake to Kings Peak by covering 12 USGS 7.5' quads. The area is popular for horseback trips and hiking. Despite the remoteness some winter use from the North Slope (Evanston, WY) and around Mirror lake is noted. The superior ortho-topo, shaded map allows better orientation and is printed at 1"=3000'. (2003) This is a tear and waterproof version of the map. Four maps tacked together make a small tent.
